  13. Hi Malalai,

I came to your site from the FB group Bloggers for Bloggers.

The real trick in making money from affiliate marketing is knowing your reader demographics intimately, then looking for products or services that resonate with that demographic.

Another attribute that makes affiliate marketing successful is that the products or services are priced such that they appeal to your reader demographics.

Sourcing the correct products or services at the right price point for your typical reader demographic is where a lot of affiliate marketers fail.

Finally, if a Blogger fails to deliver engaging, value add Blog content, drawing the right number of site visitors to their website, affiliate marketing can fail to deliver a living income.

Thanks for the well written article Malalai. Loved the read.

  14. Very helpful tips. I recently applied for Amazon affiliate program but I was unable to finish all the states of verification. I shall try again soon.

  15. Hi Malalai,

This is a great post. On my own blog site I did not even consider affiliate marketing.

Your post has inspired me to consider thinking of a strategy on how to apply it.

I do have a one question however. Is it possible to have both Google Adsense and Affiliate marketing on the same blog site (say on the same blog post)?

    Many thanks,
    Shahin
